
India is creating unstoppable records in digital payments. According to a report, UPI transactions in rural and small town shops will increase by 650 percent in 2022. Financial institutions and NBF have seen a 200 percent growth in EMIs. In 2021, the average cash withdrawal was Rs.2,620 and in 2022, it decreased to Rs.2,595. Anand Kumar Bajaj, MD & CEO, said that more people in rural areas are fast getting used to assisted digital services for banking and lifestyle needs.
